Osidian Wings Vase

$75.00

The Obsidian Wings Vase is a distinctive creation that is inspired by ancient by the stepped pyramids of Teotihuacán outside Mexico City, this piece reimagines their iconic form. The "wings," carefully crafted projections leading to the top, loosely echoing the pyramids' ascent while reversing the design into an upside-down pyramid. Each wing grows progressively wider, symbolizing expansion and growth.

Measuring 3" at the base, 4" at the top, and standing 6.5" tall, the vase achieves a balance between size and symmetry. The black and rusty red glazes bring depth and drama. This creation not only nods to the past but transforms it into something compellingly modern.
